Once you’ve logged into your de.iterate account, you’ll be greeted by your main dashboard. The main menu runs along the left-hand side, with the dark grey background (as shown opposite).
The main menu is your primary navigation hub in de.iterate. Located on the left-hand side of the screen, it gives you quick access to all the essential tools and modules required to manage your compliance program. This menu helps you move effortlessly between policy management, risk registers, assurance tasks, documentation, reporting, and admin functions.
Each section is collapsible, so you can keep your workspace tidy and focus only on the modules you’re actively using. Here’s a breakdown of each menu section and what you’ll find inside.
Home: Your personalised dashboard. This is where you’ll see key metrics and widgets like Compliance Health, Objectives, Risk Heat Maps, and Upcoming Tasks. It gives you a quick snapshot of how your system is performing. It’s also the screen you will see every time you log in to de.iterate.
Policy Management: This is where you create, publish, assign, and track your organisation’s policies. Each policy can be linked to controls, users, and frameworks, and you'll be able to see who has read and acknowledged them.
Management System: This is the heart of your ISMS (Information Security Management System) or QMS (Quality Management System). It includes everything required to build and manage a live, audit-ready system:- Compliance Calendar: View scheduled compliance events like audits, reviews, or control checks.
- Assurance Tasks: Ongoing tasks that help keep your system healthy and demonstrate continuous compliance.
- Tasks can be filtered, assigned, and tracked over time.
- System Guide: A customisable guide that helps you define how your management system works. This is useful for onboarding new staff and sharing your approach with auditors.
- Statement of Applicability: Required for ISO 27001, this section lets you document which Annex A controls apply to your business, how they’ve been implemented, and why any are excluded.
- Document Library: Store and manage all your supporting documents: policies, procedures, standards, templates, and more. Version control and review dates are built in.
- Registers: Access core registers used across your management system:
- Asset Register
- Supplier Register
- Risk Register
Reporting: Generate reports across your system, including activity, reading activity (if enabled) and Auditor Packs. Ideal for audit preparation or board reporting.
Admin Tools: These tools are only available to users with administrative permissions.- User Management: Add or remove users, assign roles and permissions, and manage access across your organisation.
- Company Settings: Configure your organisation’s information, settings, integrations, compliance frameworks, and more.
